I would deeply appreciate any suggestions asap related to calculation of stdev of the field that is priory calculated using the formula. Thank you in advance.

Well, in general, you can use the StdDev function in Crystal.
If that's not working for you, it may be a timing issue with the formula you are attempting to perform the standard deviation on. The standard deviation must be calculated at print time. If you are attempting to calculate it for another formula that is being calculated at print time, it will likely fail. If this is your problem, post back and I will give you some suggestions on how you might get around this.
