I'm having an odd problem with one of my reports.  Running CR 11.0.0.1830 .  The report is using letter size paper in landscape orietation.  The margins are all set to 0.20.  The details sections (a and b) are split into two columns with a width of 5.200.  Each detail section is set to less than four inches in Design View.  No horizontal or vertical gaps and Format Groups with multiple columns checked.  Each detail section (a and b) have different boiler plate verbiage and a few database fields.  In the Design View everything looks great.  The left and right columns look the same (a and b).  When swithing to Preview Detaila is displayed at the top of the left column.  Detailb is displayed at the top of the right column (see below).
Left Column                                Right Column
Record 1 Detaila                          Record 1 Detailb
Record 2 Detaila                          Record 2 Detailb

I expected the report to print in the format below
Left Column                                Right Column
Record 1 Detaila                          Record 2 Detaila
Record 1 Detailb                          Record 2 Detailb
Record 3 Detaila                          Record 4 Detaila
Record 3 Detailb                          Record 4 Detailb

Changing the Printing Direction on the Layout tab makes no difference.  Any help would be greatly appreciated
