Topic: Multiple Entries From One Field On One Line
Posted: 19 Jun 2013 at 2:22am
Hi All,
I have a feeling that this isn't possible in Crystal Reports but thought I would ask, just in case!
I have a two fields which records when certain events take place on our system.
One field logs the action codes - 'ACR', 'PUB', 'CIN' etc.
A second field matches this with a date stamp.
Currently when I look for an institution's data on certain actions it creates multiple lines, one for each action which I had filtered by. e.g.:
InstitutionName - Action1 - Action1date
InstitutionName - Action2 - Action2date
What I would like to do, if possible, is something like this:
InstitutionName - Action1 - Action1date - Action2 - Action2date
I hope I have explained that clearly. I'd appreciate any help or any suggested work arounds.
Thanks in advance.
Best wishes,

HI
Best way to do this is concatenate field1 and field2 and insert in cross tab.
Create a formula and add two fields like :
{Field1} & {Field2}
Now go in cross tab report and insert this formula in column and check
Thanks,
