I have a report running from SQL Express edition. I have some stray data appearing in the report which does not match the selection criteria every time the report is refreshed.  I suspect this stray data is even available at design stage when i am formating the report, before I even assign a new parameter for my "is like" selection criteria.
 
Any help on this strange occurence will be greatly appreciated.

I managed to sort my problem by changing the selection formula which was picking null data from the select field.
