    Posted: 15 Jul 2008 at 4:41pm
Ok, I'm trying to find how to format the section.... I have the data laid out and as for the rows that contain multiple data, how can I edit the spacing?  At the moment they are coming up to separate from the other items.

I have tried looking at formatting the section and formatting the field but I can't find anything...

Please help.

Thanks,

ok, basically this is how it's laid out:

This is how I want it displayed:Thumbs%20Up
Item #      Description      Whse Code    Quantity    Inventory
1/12 VAL   AC 10/30               000               0               73.50
                                              002                0              00.00
                                              100              357            236.00

This is how it shows right now:Thumbs%20Down
Item #      Description      Whse Code    Quantity    Inventory
1/12 VAL   AC 10/30               000               0               73.50

                                              002                0              00.00

                                              100              357            236.00

Basically I want the rows to come up closer...  and because this does not have nothing to do with each row being on it's own section (they are all in the same section), I dont know how to get them to show up closer together.

Thanks,

Luis

Can you check is there is any space between the fields placed and order or the height of the field is more than required. If so adjust same the same manually dragging it.

well here's the dilema...

Item #      Description      Whse Code    Quantity    Inventory
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1/12 VAL   AC 10/30               000               0               73.50    -

                                              002                0              00.00    -

100              357            236.00  - if I move this row ^ the others move up too...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is one section, example: Whse Code is only one field there is not three fields here.  in the DB (MAS200) it has three forms of data in one field, I don't know how it seperates these but it does.  Anyhow... I found under section expert a "format with multiple columns" area and under the "layout tab" there is a "gap between details" here I'm able to expand the spacing but I cant minimize the space.

So it's still spaced out to much which affect the layout and more sheets to print on.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks everyone,

Try this:

Right-click on the field and select "Format".  Go to the paragraph tab and set the row spacing there.
