In an aim to reduce the number of reports, I would like to know if anyone has any ideas how I can progrmatically decide the main grouping on a report.  We have certain financial reports for example, that are more or less identical in content just grouped differently eg by invoice date, invoice week, invoice month, invoice year, customer.

Is there a recommended way of achieving this ?

Any ideas would be grateful
TIA

I think I have found a way to achieve part of the problem by creating   the group on a forumula derived from the values in a paramater field.

But now I need to be able to extract the static values from a paramater field, to be able to display the grouping options in my report launcher

Anyone any ideas?
