    Posted: 04 Aug 2008 at 8:17pm
I am reporting on an hour meter and everyday in the report I document the hour meter when used.
Example Data
                                   Begin Meter Reading     34253
Date             Hours           Meter Reading              Notes
08/01/08         1                     34254
08/04/08         3                     34257
08/05/08         1                     34258
08/09/08         2                     34260
08/12/08         2                     00002                          Changed Meter
08/15/08         5                     00007

Example of FUTURE  Report

Date            Hours           Meter Reading
08/01/08        1                     34254
08/02/08        0                     34254
08/03/08        0                     34254
08/04/08        3                     34257
08/05/08        1                     34258
08/06/08        0                     34258
08/07/08        0                     34258
08/08/08        0                     34258
08/09/08        2                     34260
08/10/08        0                     34260
08/11/08        0                     34260
08/12/08        2                     00002
08/13/08        0                     00002
08/14/08        0                     00002
08/15/08        5                     00007
etc....

I was using a global varible starting with the Beginnig Meter Reading
Global numbervar BegMeterHr := Beginning Meter Reading
I put thisin my header

Then, I put in my detail
If hour = 0 then
Global numbervar BegMeterHr := BegMeterHr + Hours
else
Meter Reading

Then in my footer
Global numbervar BegMeterHr;

At this time I get this for a report

Example of FUTURE  Report

Date            Hours           Meter Reading
08/01/08        1                     34254
08/02/08        0                     34254
08/03/08        0                     34254
08/04/08        3                     34257
08/05/08        1                     34258
08/06/08        0                     34258
08/07/08        0                     34258
08/08/08        0                     34258
08/09/08        2                     34260
08/10/08        0                     34260
08/11/08        0                     34260
08/12/08        2                     00002
08/13/08        0                     34260
08/14/08        0                     34260
08/15/08        5                     00007
etc....

I do I fix this problem????  I would like my report to look like the FUTURE Report

Thanks
