Hi folks,

I am using Crystal 10 enterprise server to launch the report. When i tried to launch a report it is prompting for the DB logon credentials:

The report you requested requires further information.

When i provided the log on credentials, it is navigating to the parameters screen. This is the same for every trigger of the report!

I'm using a stored procedure as the data source for the report and DSN is the connection data source component. Is there we need to set some options on either DSN or in the report level?

It would be helpful if anyone have solution for this.

Thanks in Advance
Viswa

Hi

Do you have admin right to CE 10 server ,if yes login into CMC then you can Navigate to the report and then Select the process Tab in that select Database Link

Scroll Down
Uncheck  the Box which say's
Prompt the user for database logon when viewing

Also check you have entered the valid Login Credentials for the Connection.....

Cheers
Rahul

Hi Rahul,

Thanks for your answer.

I don't have admin rights in the CE server. I've to raise a work ticket to the admin stating the issue and procedure to fix it.

Have a follow-up question based on your answer:
Is it only possible to set that property at report level or we can do this on folder level also?
Pls. clarify

Thanks
Viswa
