I am designing a report in Crystal Reports 9 where we create the report and then export it as rtf and save it as rtf string to our database.

We do this so that the report can be easily opened in Word and then formatted according to the specific reason for the report.

What I am having an issue with is when we pull the rtf from the database again after exporting to rtf, the word doc is showing all the text as frames. We do not want them to be in frame format. Is there anyway to change the crystal fields to be in line text fields rather than just boxes like they are now.
