Hi,

Is it possible to run a crystal report(chart) by just importing Excel Sheet(which has few columns/rows data).Does anyone knows how to do that if possible? Help in this regrad would be deeply appreciated.

I've installed Crystal Report XI R2.

Thanks.

Crystal XI will not connect to an Excel 2003 workbook.  However, if you save the file in the earlier format (save as, and select the "Microsof Excel 97- Excel 2003 * 5.0/95 Workbook" format), it will open.

In Crystal, go to New Report.  On the connection screen open Create New Connection and select "Database Files".  In the File Type drop down, select Excel and then browse to your file and click on Open.  Double-click on the sheet name on the left of the screen to move it to the right.

You can then use the data in your report.

Actually, I'm not a guy...   Don't worry, it's a common mistake.

I'm glad I was able to help.
