How to specify date value in formula field explicitly?
 
i want to subtract Stdate from 12/31/2007
 
In Formula, i'd given like 
 
{12,31,2008}-{tbname.stdate}
 
I'm getting error...help me out.

Use DateDiff.  It is a function that you can look up in help.
