This goes back to 8.5 I'm afraid but I'm hoping it might jog someone's memory. I'm exporting a report with fixed width fields (that is, I've padded the fields with spaces as needed) and the overall length on one line is 1370 characters. I'm using an HP Plotter Driver to get the very long formatting area which is 5000 characters.

Excel export, everything exports fine. Tab-separated export cuts off or truncates every line at 1060. So I Saved Data With Report and brought it to my machine and opened in Cry 10, then did the same export. The text was NOT truncated, all fields were exported.

Does anyone remember, were there export limitations in 8.5 that could be causing this, and am I therefore, out of luck on this one. I've searched everywhere and cannot find a definitive answer on this one.
