Trying to make percent formulas using group sums.  No problem getting correct figures for group#1, but when I try to use the group#2 sum from the field list in the formula editor, it gives me the figure for the group#1 sum.

To research this, I tried simply assigning the value of the group#2 sum to a variable (v=group#2 sum chosen from window in formula editor.  When I enter this variable into the group#2 footer line, always get the sum for group#1!

I've torn it the report apart, deleted the group and remade it and total, but still can't get the correct figure.

Oddly, the group#2 sums on the report are correct - but always the group#1 figure when referenced by a variable using the formula editor.

Formula editor window shows two sum lines (fields), one for group#1 and the other for group#2, but both give me group#1 figures.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

When you are referencing "group#2" are you actually grouping at 2 levels or are you meaning the second item from group level 1. My guess is the second but want to make sure.

Can you post the Formula you used?
