    Posted: 09 May 2007 at 12:30am
Hi,

I have created a main report and placed two existing subreports into it. The subreports are separate rpt files. The report works fine, but I would like the subreports to become a part of the main rpt file instead of separate rpt files.
Can this be done without having to recreate them all over again from within the main report? Thanks!

If you placed the two subreports into the main report, then they are now part of the main .rpt file. When you added them to the main report, Crystal made a copy of the original report files and saved the copy within the main report file. The original reports will still be on your computer, but they are separate now. If you make changes to the subreports you should see that the original reports were not modified. In other words, you should already have what you want.

Thanks Brian, I seem to have worried for nothing.
