Topic: Duplicate field in Formula

I have a Formula field in my report. The same is in session details, the same value repeated n times.
Used Formula below following message appears: "This field has no previous or next value."
if ((Field)) = previous ((Field)) then
true
What can I do to fix this?

don't think that you can use a formula in a next or previous statement...you would need to use the table.field that the formula is referencing.
I use lots of formulas, but not too many previous/next.
