I have a report where I have tableA with an ID number and some other basic information.  Then I have tableB with all the detail.  However, I need to run a calculation and check each detail record for specific criteria to see if I need to include it in the calculation.  Currently, I have a detail record displayed on my report for each record.  Is there a way to only display one detail record for each ID number?  Will that record that is display be the only data used/included in my calculation?

Thanks!

Suppressing items does not exclude them from summaries.

You can do that by:
Excluding the data before you get it into crystal.
Using variables to conditionally include them in summaries.
Using Running totals to conditionally include them in summaries.
