hi guys,

i am not much of a crystal report or database guy.  i hope u guys can advice me!!!!

i am doing a migration from sqlbase to sql server. (i am clueless! i am the network tech support personal!!!) i was told by the programmer/database person that all the database in sql server will be identical to the current sqlbase database.  currently we have about 200 crystal report that runs on sqlbase.

what concerns me the most is the crystal reports.  will it still run on sql server and how to configure all these to run from sql server.  anyone can guide me? a resource link that i can read up more on crystal reports?

regards,

martin

Since both databases have the exact same structure, you should be in good shape. Open the report and choose the menu options Database > Set Datasource Location. Then click on each server and swap it out for the new server. With all tables matching this should go smooth. If not, please report back any errors and we'll see if someone here can help out.
