Hi All,

I was wondering if there is a formula or anyway to automatically refresh a report, and then for it to popup with an alert if it detects the numbers "160" within the report.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

I am not aware of a timer feature for the refresh your can set alerts these are well described in the Help Section for CR.

As far as refresh, I suppose you could set the report to run as a scheduled task at regular intervals, when the report loaded you see the alert.

You could also build an application that would run in the background or service with a timer that would effectilvely refresh the report and any resulting alerts message showing.

Perhaps someone else can make note of other choices.

Let us know what you decide to be a solution.

Regards,

U need a timer control which invokes the report.
Basically a report itself do nothing like alert/reminder.
So u have to call the report through codes check if '160 ' is added to the database or not.

Moreover u can color the particular Record like in yours case '160' as Red or whatever u like through setting the formula in Font Color property of the field
