SSRS seems to have way fewer functions, but you can program what you want. It's not too hard, it just has an odd syntax to access it...and it is in VB.Net so if you don't know the function calls it can be....challenging.
I don't remember the syntax off the top of my head, but I can figure it out from other reports when I need to (it is at a contract site so I don't have access)
