I have used CR for a long time, however I haven't used it for a while, The company I wiork for has just let me loose on CR-XI Tongue

Anyway, my stupid question, I have two tables

Table one has a code, that matches in table two, i want the description from table 2 in my report.

I have forgotton how to do this as a formula, the ones I thought it was don't work, and although my SQL is pretty good, the SQL expression doesn't seem to want to know. Angry

Any hekp would be appreciated.

If you join the two tables on that code, the field in the second table that has the description will appear in the Field Explorer window. Is this not what you want?

Sorry, i was being dumb, the way the tables are joined was making things very difficult, as I wasn't quite sure what the joins actually where.

I have kinda solved my problem.

Thanks anyway.
C-3PO: Excuse me sir, but might I inquire as to what's going on?
Han Solo: Why not?
C-3PO: Impossible man.
