As far as I know, there is no way to do this.

There is not functionality built in to the SDK to get the position of the cursor.  If you want to get information about the objects in a report template (prior to it being run!) see the documentation here:  http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXIR2/en/devsuite.htm
 
Click on Crystal Reports .NET SDK.
