*waves*  Long time no see.

I have a very tricky question.  I'm sure it has a very simple answer, but it's probably going to be hard to find.

We have Crystal 2008 installed on a Citrix box for a select group of our users to use.  The primary data source for these users is going to be Business Objects universes.

When a user goes to connect to a universe, by default the only server in the list is the Citrix server the Crystal is installed on.  While that seems somewhat logical, it is less than useful, as that is not where any of the universes are located.

Does anyone know how I can change that default server setting?  Does it require a registry hack?

Hi Lugh!!

Try looking at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\Components\EnterpriseLogonControl

The Key Names you'll want to add are:

LastApsName - put the CMS name in here.
LastAuthentication - put the authentication type here.  Default is secEnterprise.

The additional keys that I see in mine are LastUserName which is the BO user id last used to log in and UseApsNames which is a semi-colon delimited list of all of the CMS' that I've accessed (I have access to BO in three distinct environments - local, Dev server, and Production.)

I hopw this helps!
