I am modifying an existing report and cannot move some of the fields. The fields can be moved a small amount, but there appears to be a border that contains the fields and I cannot move the fields past this border.
I am unable to click on or do anything with this border to move or expand it. It is not a guideline or the end of the page. This border stays the same size regardless of the page size.
If anyone can offer some insight, I would appreciate it!

Is it possible that the fields are inside a text block?  I would try deleting the fields and dragging the same field from the explorer to the new location.

Hi Dell,

I don't think they are in a text box. I tried adding new fields to the report and they are constrained by the width of this border as well. I did adjust the page size from 4"X8" to Letter, and just to the right of the border, all of the fields are duplicated, and the background is blue. I am fairly new to Crystal and have not seen this before. For what it's worth, this report was originally designed for shipping labels where more than one label can be printed on one page. The area in blue looks almost like a placeholder for the fields in case more than one label is requested at print time.

Thanks for your help.

Crystal treats label reports differently than regular reports because they're multiple columns on a page.  Why do you need to move the fields?  Knowing that, I may be able come up with a better solution for you.
