Hi,

last time you gave me a good advice how I can merge the cells in crystal reports. Now the customer has a new idea. He wants me to align the cells of a table to the buttom. You see the problem ist that the "LS 25" should be at the bottom, also "Muster", "time" and "ApfelApfel, Birne".

LS 25 GAB - Bundesabgabenordnung unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Abgabeneinhebung, der Grundzüge der Abgabenexekutionsordnung und des Insolvenzrechts Muster 07:45 – 08:30 ApfelApfel, Birne

Until now I only have found the horizontal alligment options.
Thank you!

Perhaps I am missing the point...

It seems you should be able to select all the fields, assuming your major text field is sized properly, and then right click  selection Align  then choose Bottom.

If your major text field is not sized right then it may not be able to align the bottoms of the fields.

Hope it helps

This can happen when lining up multi-line text boxes with single line text boxes. You need to set an "anchor point" (I can't remember the name of those little triangles on the side) for the objects to attach to. Then you can move the text boxes so that they all line up along the bottom portion of the font. This is a little tricky because it can also lock onto the bottom of the text object border, which you don't want. Move it slowly and you'll see how it can also lock onto the bottom of the actual font rather then that object itself.

If this is too tricky, then turn off "snap to grid" and zoom in on the report designer  to line them up manually.

sorry, I meant something these people were talking about:
http://www.codeguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=335369
so something like the global constant: crBottomAligned

So, I want the content which is displayed in the report to be bottom aligned.
I guess I can do that by crBottomAligned.
How can I use this constant?
I tried to make a formula: crBottomAligned("fieldname") but that did not work

Thank you!

I don't think you can do it. Unless someone else has a trick up their sleeves, I've never seen it before.
