Here is my situation. I have an excel spreadsheet that contains telephone numbers. I've formatted each column of telephone numbers as TEXT. When I open it in CR, it is of the type NUMERIC. My problem is that I need to match to two columns. Unfortunately, the numbers in one column is typed in as:
5551212 and the other column 51212.
I would like to just compare/match the the last 5 digits of the first column with the other.
Help
(I'm scheduled to take an CR class in November, so hopefully I won't be bugging you guys with what may be simple solutions.
