I’m working in crystal reports XI. I experience the same type of problem with many of my reports, if I get help with this one it will help a lot!

I have a number of articles that I want to have as a list on my report.  I also want to show every invoice related to each article number. When I link the article-table to the invoice-table the articles that have no related invoice disappear. I want them to be included even though they have no posts in the linked invoice-table.

My guess is that the solution is to find somewhere in how I link the tables, but I have tried different options and can’t get it right. Any ideas anyone?

Sounds like you might want to use a left join.

Thanks. That helps kind of half way =)
I get all the articles in the report, but as soon as I add information from the invoice-table the articles without any invoices dissapear. Any suggestions to what I can do about that? Something with one of the other link-options perhaps?

Now it worked! =)
I had one more table, companies, that was linked to the invoice-table. When I set that link as well to left outer it worked.

BUT.... Next problem. When I go to the select expert and select a certain period for the invoices, the articles that had no invoces in that period disappears. Any suggestions to how I can deal wit that?
