I am attempting to to summarize in a crosstab a formula that works in a basic report.

Questions:  Can you add any summary options to the defaults within crystal?  ie., average, sum, nth largest?

How would I change the formula of ttlsales/number of days in a month x the numberof dates within the run?  I have the formula working in a regular report, however it will not even give me the option to use it in the crosstab.

I have been reading about a shortcut menu and how you can change things there and I cannot find it for the life of me.

Thanks

This is very complex. I have an example in my book, but it is too difficult to explain here. Sorry.

To change the titles of fields, right-click on them and use the pop-up menu options to format them. I think you can also double-click on it to put the text in edit mode (I dont' have CR with me right now).

For doing the custom formula, you need to copy the cross-tab into an array as it prints and then you can use the Display String property to create a new formula which uses your new calculation. But again, this is really complex and can't be explained here in enough detail.
