Hi,

i'm new user of crystal report.

i want to know that how to connect crystal report9.0 to Sql SERVER using DSN .

Pls let me know the steps...

i'm trying to get rid of this probs sine last 2 days but not succeded.

i hope you will help me...............

I use CR XI. In it you can use the Database Expert to create a new connection for the report. Just follow the wizard steps to use ODBC and then pick the DSN name for the connection to SQL Server. This assumes that you have created the ODBC connection first. That is done in Windows under Control Panel->Computer Management->ODBC Connections.
 
I would guess that CR 9 has a similar functionality if not being identical.

This assumes you have built the Connection.
If you have not done that yet (ie you do not see your Database in the list from above)
Goto the Windows Admin tool
Data Sources
and either set it up as a user DSn or a system DSN
You'll need the system name, a logon and PW
