Hi,

Sorry plase bear with me, this seems to be a newbie question.

How do you create multiple cross-tab in one report?

For example, I want a cross-tab table for each region in New South Wales in one report. I know how you can do grouping within the cross-tab, but how about multiple cross-tab?  Does this involve sub-report (just guessing here, haven't play with subreport too much)

Thanks in advance,

Joshua

All you need to do is put the cross-tab in the group header and it automatically filters the cross-tab data just for that group.

Sorry for asking again. I'm seriously missing something here. I can't put the cross-tab withint the detail section and for group header it only seems to group around the details section.

Am I missing something very simple here?

Thanks for the help

The cross-tab prints the data in the section right below it. That's why you can't put it in the Details section b/c that is the lowest level possible. If you want to group on the outer data, you could put the cross-tab in the report header. And you can put as many as you want. However, I don't think this answers your question. Maybe you could list an example of what you want to do?
