Dear ALL,
I am a newbie in crystal report. Please help me
Problem: Currently when user download the crystal report in excel ,there exist a blank column.

Fields
DATE , TIME , NAME , REASON, NOTE
Here REASON and NOTE fields are often empty.

Requirement: user need to update the blank value in database.
Is it possible to have the row updated by a combo box in crystal report ?

CR doesn't update the database.  You could have a stored proc that pulls the data update it at the same time, but I personally, don't like to have reports change data.

As to the updating when the excel file is created, would again go against the export routine, and I don't know if you have access to that.
