Hi All,

I have found some error in CR XI. Is this a bug in CR XI? Is there any patch for this?

I have a report (main report) which is having one subreport.
The subreport uses stored procedure(SQL Server 2000) for data retrival. There is no database connectivity in main report.
From the main report , I double click to open subreport. Now, select "Database" from menu and click "Verify Database". We will see an error saying "Prompting failed with the following error message:",
Error source : Error code :0x8000FFFF.

Can one please explain the cause of error and the fix for this.
Brian I am expecting reply from you.

Thanks in advance,
Naresh

Do you have the latest patches for Crystal?  If not, try installing them.  If that doesn't solve the problem, you'll have to report the issue to Business Objects as it sounds like a bug.  The more people who report it, the sooner it will get fixed.
