Fairly new to Crystal Reports XI, and this problem probably has a simple answer.
Have a report that has 2 groups and gets data from stored procedure. Group 1 is location and group 2 is exam date.  Only want to print the last record in group 2 for the group 1 location.  Do need all the information prior to the last group 2 because the report has month to date row for each location right after printing the line for group 2.

not exactly sure what you want it to look like but you can print a field from only the last row in a group by placing the data field in the group footer.

supressing data has NO impact on calculations. All rows are still counted, summed, averaged, etc.
so group as desired (on BIRM feild and Date field set to each day)
supress your detail section
add your calcuations to GF2 as desired
