I used Crystal 8.5 to export data to .chr format but in Crystal XI this format is not in the list, does anyone know how to export data to this format?

have no idea what .chr format is.
 
try exporting to one of the types that CR does export to, and then see if you can export/convert from that format to the .chr format.
