Crystal Reports V8.5.0.217
 
I sometimes create Crystal reports on a client's server using a VPN and Remote Desktop to connect.  I have written many reports for this client live on their site and have used the From and To date selection parameter with great success.  These can be refreshed both on site and by a number of users with remote access.
 
I have recently been working on a complex report which contains From and To date parameter control.  I can refresh this report remotely, however on site users and other remote users cannot - they get a blank report.
 
Is there anything in that parameter which makes it selective.
 
I look forward to hearing from someone that might be able to help me with this.

I see various problems posted to this forum about similar problems. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any resolutions yet. It seems that this is a regular problem for CR.

On further investigation, it seems that when the client attepts to run the report (and gets a blank result) when I go back and attempt to run it on legitimate dates, I get random multiple lines appearing on the report.  It is as if, by running it from somewhere else, the parameter is being corrupted.
 
Do you know if this has been resolved in later versions of Crystal Reports?
 
I have just been back to the report and find that no matter what I do with the date range parameter (eg delete it and start again with a new parameter) the report is now corrupt.
