Good Day,

I need help with a connection problem. When attempting to run a report in BO Enterprise (Preview) or InfoView; I get error msg, "Failed to open the connection." The server I'm attempting to connect to is a SQL Server. Now, I can connect and run the report successfully through CR and I can connect successfully through MS Visual Studio to view table data, but it will not connect via BO Enterprise (Preview) or InfoView.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
CoachGBT

Had to mark within the ODBC connections to use ANSI quoted identifiers and Use Ansi Nulls, Paddings and Warnings.

Hoewver, the possibility exists that the BO server has incorrect settings, is this problem new?
