Hello,
I have the data displayed below in a cross-tab and have imported a MS Excel spreadsheet with a different type of data for Jan – Dec. I then need to take the data from the cross-tab and multiply it by 1,000 then divide it by the data from the spreadsheet for each month for each company and each product type.
For example: to calculate the number for company ABC for January for product type A1 the formula would be (2*1,000)/19,259 = .1038. And February: (2*1,000)/17,581 = .1137, etc… I apologize if this sounds a bit confusion but I don’t know of an easier way to explain this. This calculation can easily be done in MS Excel but I want to see if there is a way to do this same calculation in Crystal Reports.
Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated!
