Hi

Ive setup a Crystal Report and scheduled it to export a text file everyday for the previous days data.  When configuring the schedule I specify the filename and include the pre-defined date option.  When the file runs the file is uses the current 'print' date, but I actually want the date to be the day previous that is relevant to the actual data within the report.  Does anyone know how to do this?

eg.  report runs at 07:00 on 10th October the file is called Report1_2007-10-10-07-00.rpt  and actually want it called Report1_2007-10-09.rpt

Thanks in advance

Hi

We are using the Crystal Reports Web Server to schedule them.

If you can't find a solution for this in CRS, consider a 3rd-party tool as a solution (for a list of such tools, see http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html).

My Visual CUT software allows you to specify export folders and file names as a mixture of static text and dynamic values taken from report fields and formulas.
