Viewing and printing can be disconnected and different printers will do different things. In the report design, look at the Page Setup.
- If either "No Printer (optimize for screen display)" or "Disocciate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size" is checked, then the report doesn't take into account how a default printer would display the page.
- If neither of those are checked and the default printer is not the same model as the printer you're actually printing to, that can cause differences in the print appearance.
- On the screen, the report is rendered as HTML which can have a slightly different format than either the PDF or ActiveX print controls use. One way around this is to use the ActiveX viewer, which automatically uses the ActiveX print control - with this combination the view and the print will match up.
