I am in Crystal XI. I am trying to insert a summary that SUMs an amount, and stick it in a group. But when I click OK to finish the Summary, it does not appear in the group, or anywhere in my report!
I have 3 Groups: Company, Process Level and Vendor. I want to SUM the Deduction amount at the Vendor Level. So I click on 'Insert Summary'. Then I click on which field to summarize (Ded_Amt). I choose SUM. Then, I click to add this to the "vendor" group. When I click OK, the summary just is not there. I've thought 'maybe it's hiding behind another field'. Nope. Was my Group suppressed or conditionally suppressed? Nope. Is the color font white? Nope.
This seems so elementary. I've done this dozens of times. What am I forgetting?? Thanks!
