Hi Guys

I am fairly new to CR and would like some help on a report that has already been created and i need to amend it.

This is the layout of the report

@custname           @pickupaddress       @dropoffaddress          @fare
customer name        Pickup address          drop off address          32.00
customer name        pickup address          drop off address           32.00
customer name        pickup address          drop off address          32.00
customer name        pickup address          drop off address          20.00
customer name        pickup address          drop off address          10:00
customer name        pickup address          drop off address          120.00

What i want my report to look like is this

@custname           @pickupaddress       @dropoffaddress          @fare
customer name        Pickup address          drop off address          32.00
customer name        pickup address          drop off address
customer name        pickup address          drop off address
customer name        pickup address          drop off address          20.00
customer name        pickup address          drop off address          10:00
customer name        pickup address          drop off address          120.00

The first three records are apart of a group booking and what i want it to do is only show one fare for that group booking i.e 32.00, i have added a group to group the customers name by the groupbooking ID.

Can anyone HELP PLEASE

you can conditionally suppress the field using
previous(table.groupbookingid)=table.groupbookingid

Or you can right click on the field - format field and click on suppress if duplicated

For clarity, i believe that using the 'suppress if duplicated' check box will suppress instances of duplication within the lowest group level. It 'restarts' on the first row of the next group instance.

Couldnt you just group by customer name/and fare?

This seems easy enough?

create a formula that lists

customer name + totext(fare)

Then group by this formula, if you need the fare on top, just put the first line in the group header with fare and in detail just show the information you want to see without fare.
