In my classic ASP web app that uses Crystal Reports XI, I test on a local server before I upload the files to the production server. I can connect to the sources (SQL Server 2000) just fine. However, the problem is that whenever I edit a report, I have to change the data source location, test it, and then after uploading the modified report, I have to remember to change the data source location back to the database on the live server.

I'd like to reduce the possibility of error in this current scheme. Is there anyway to keep the connection string for a Crystal Report in some sort of config file that I can keep separate on each server?

Thanks in advance.
