hi, im using sap crystal reports on visual studio 2010..

i created 2 parameters "from" and "to" for my report and

this formula :

{MAQUINA.FECHA_ADQUISICION} in {?FromDate} to {?ToDate}

but when i launch a preview of my report , i enter certain dates that shouldn't return any value, but it shows me all the fields on the table anyway.

is there something that i have not done to not display the data out of range?

now it is working, thanks!!! but there is something i dont understand very well.. there are 3 option for selection formula.

register
group
saved data

in what cases should i pick each one of this options?? now i selected "group", and it worked.
