Dear all,

I have a load of reports that use a DSN to connect to Database A.  I want all the reports to point to database B instead (and I don't want to change the source for each report one at a time).

I had a go at changing the DSN, swapping the details for Database A for Database B. Unfortunately, it looks like the DSN is chached in the report some how so which ever database I point the DSN to it still takes the data from the original source.

Am I stuck with changing all the reports individually?? Hope not.

Please help or it's RSI city here I come.

Hi

While creating crystal reports it saves along with connection information, so it is not possible to remove.

Alternate way of doing this is.. go in old DSN and change the database from A to B.

i.e. modify the DSN with new database details.

Thanks,

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I've tried changing the DSN file to point to the various databases.  The trouble seems to be that the Report ignores the changes and carries on getting data from the original one.  'Save data with report' is off by the way.
