Hi
I have a subreport where I have suppressed a field if it's a duplicate. I want to suppress a second field based on the first field being suppressed. Is there a way to this. In p-code something like
if {first field} is suppressed then suppress {second field}

You can't do such a thing, but you could copy the same formula logic from the first field into the second. That way they are both suppressed at the same time.
Ummm... wait a minute, you COULD set global variable and set it to true or false within the first formula. Then in the second formula check the variable's value. Just make sure you reset it each time so that you don't accidentally get a carryover from a prior record.
