How to set a date range parameter in report

Hi
 
Create a date type parameter, while creating go in options.. and set the parameter to range.
 
Now go in Report--Selection Formulas-- Record and give a condition like :
 
{TableDateField} = {?date_parameter}  this will filter the data.
