    Posted: 22 May 2013 at 7:40am
Hi everyone,

I have a CR 8.5 report that is printing a bunch of blank pages at the end of the report.  This report has two subreports. They each prompt the user for a value that determines TopN groups.  Top X Customers on the left and Top X Products on the right.  So if I enter the value 4 for each prompt I get four line items on each sub rpt and 9 blank pages.  The sub reports are side by side(stacked horizontaly).  How can I get rid of these blank pages? Please.

in designer preview mode look on the left handside of the display and first determine what section(s) are being printed onthese pages.
This is the first step to figuring out how to suppress or remove those section(s).

The blank pages are set to print Page Header, Detail and Page Footer.  Anything else I need to look at?

the page header and footer are likely only printingbecause of the details.
Set the details section to be suppressed.

That didn't work,  but when I suppressed the group footer in the sub reports that did the trick.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
