I am getting the following error code

Failed to open the connection. Details: [Database Vendor Code: 17 ]

The report works in viewer and when I run it on localhost

The error occurs when I try to run it on my hosted site. Note that other reports run fine on the hosted site

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Since it is a data base error.  You have to make sure what ever database connection that you have on the local host is the same on the hosted site.
