Good Afternoon
Hope you can help.
I have a column for which I have several options appearing one is the word N/a. What is the best function\formulae to use to replace these with a blank field?

Be aware that at no point will crystal ever actually replace or alter data. It can add formula results which can be used in lieu of another field or you can alter the way items are displayed.
just conditionally suppress it.
right click on the field
select format field
common tab
suppress formula
table.field = 'N/a'
