I am attempting to create a parameter based on users in my database.  Creating the dynamic parameter was easy enough, but I have run into a few problems.

For this particular report we only look at user accounts that are still active and users from certain "departments" if you will.  We have the fields in the database to key off of.

I have tried using record selection and even suppressing results but the selection parameter still shows all user and not what I have indicated.

How can I set further criteria for the parameter?

I you are using a command, you could create a filter in the SQL.  I do not know of a way of filtering the dynamic parameter any other way.
