Quote AnthonyJ Replybullet Topic: Creating Groups without the ability to Drilldown
    Posted: 23 Feb 2008 at 8:41am
Hi,

Is it possible to remove the drilldown capability applied to a group ? I inserted a group so I can display a single row for the same data and sum up the metric. I want this summary section to be displayed but prevent the users from drilling down. I have tried using Drilldowngrouplevel  function but that didn't work.

Any help is appreciated.

You can go to the Section Expert and select Hide (No Drilldown) to prevent the user from expanding the group details.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for your feedback.

I did go to the section expert and selected Suppress (No Drilldown) on the Detail Section. This hides the group details. But is it possible to remove the magnifying glass whenever user hovers over the group ? This basically indicates that the group is available for drilling.
